I Was a Diet Junkie | PA17

How many times have we told ourselves I'll start on Monday or next week. Only to have Monday come, and it's a few hours into the day, and something trips you up, and before you know it, you're 10 pounds heavier. Oh, the vicious cycle of dieting and how it can affect us mentally, physically, and spiritually. Every time we try a new "diet," we take a new rule with us. Before we know it, we're 10 + rules in, and we want to rebel against them. In this episode, I'll be teaching you the secret key to freedom from dieting

In today's episode, we'll be learning about:

·       EVERY TIME YOU DIET: Every time you go on a new diet, you end up taking a rule with you. Before you know it, you're ten rules in and feeling frustrated AF.

·       IT'S NOT YOU: It's the diet that's failing you.

·       WE NEED FOOD: Unfortunately, we need food to survive, so it's tough to cut out something we need. It's about finding balance with it.

·       YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD: What does your personal relationship with food look like? Asking yourself this question can help you see the barriers you've put up over time to help you lose weight for good.

·       CALORIE SURPLUS: 3,500 extra calories = 1 pound of fat

·       STOP THE CYCLE: The awful cycle of "starting on Monday."

·       QUICK FIXES: We live in a world of quick fixes, always trying to find out how to we can take short cuts to find ways to make the process go faster.

·       FREEDOM FROM DIETING: Using intuitive eating can help set you free from "dieting"
